Verizon’s Annoying Christmas Carolers Commercial

This one is real annoying, and that’s pretty much all I’ve gotta say about it. Thankfully, we only have to deal with it for another month or so.

The Song From That Taco Bell $5 Cravings Box Commercial

When this commercial for Taco Bell’s $5 Cravings Box came on, I thought “is that a Green Day song I’ve never heard?” And yup, it is. The song is the newly released “Look Ma, No Brains!” Good on Green Day, still truckin’ along after all these years. This one sounds like old Green Day, so that’s cool too. The $5 Cravings Box looks tasty, and that seems like a fun party.

T-Mobile: Zoe Saldana Wants A New iPhone 15

In another commercial where a celebrity is envious of a stranger’s new iPhone 15, Zoe Saldana sees a family with them and wishes her family had them. But Zoe’s an action star…she can take action! She can join T-Mobile and get four new iPhone 15s on them, AND four lines for $25/month. With that camera, she’ll be sharing pics from the slopes. Except that she’s not actually good at skiing, though her stuntwoman is. Also she looks like a marshmallow in that jacket.

Monopoly Shows An 8-Year Old Landlord

You really don’t see many commercials for board games anymore. But if one is going to advertise, I guess Monopoly makes sense. We learn that being an 8-year old landlord ain’t easy. Our lil’ landlord confidently strides like a boss through Park Place Apartments, telling a poor guy that he’s fired. It takes a special kind of dedication, like stopping up a leaky pipe with gum. And it takes a lot of dough to keep up with the times…rent increase! And when people aren’t paying…final notice to Mom! It’s all in the name of the game, and all is fair in Monopoly! The 8-year old landlord puts a stellar performance in this one.

Amazon: Rufus The Dog Snowboards

Rufus hates being stuck inside. Luckily, his owner Amy saved big on Amazon, so Rufus can go snowboarding with her. Rufus is looking quite stylish with those shades too. Rufus rips! The song playing is “Saturday (Oooh! Ooooh)” by Ludacris featuring Sleepy Brown.
