Taco Bell’s Rolled Chicken Tacos Are Back, Much To The Delight Of This Instagram Boyfriend

Taco Bell’s popular Rolled Chicken Tacos have made their triumphant yearly return. The guy in this ad is an “Instagram Boyfriend.” He takes shots of his girl all over the world, with all different kinds of poses. But now that Rolled Chicken Tacos are back, his hands are tied and conflict is a-brewin’. Seems that his girlfriend gets upset when he can’t capture “Sunset Heart Hands.” Haha. Abigail Klein plays the girlfriend…anyone know who’s the Instagram Boyfriend?

State Farm: Aaron Rodgers’ Agent Has Apparently Never Used A Bathroom

There’s been a fire in the bathroom of Aaron Rodgers. Apparently, a candle lit a towel on fire and the towel charred the wall. But don’t look at Aaron’s agent, Gabe. He’s never been in a bathroom…he just meditates and makes it go away. Right. Gabe is played by David Haydn-Jones, and the State Farm agent is real-life agent Patrick Minnis. Also, Gabe, you can’t trade a State Farm agent the Siberian Football League.

This Commercial Sucks: GMC Goes “One For You, One For Me” On Black Friday

When the revolution comes, I swear it’ll be in part buoyed on by ridiculous ads like Lexus’ “December to Remember” and this GMC Sierra spot. Do normal people buy cars for themselves and their spouses during the holidays like it’s a rational, ho-hum event, and not a big-ticket purchase that requires a lot of planning and conversation? Though judging from the size of their house, maybe buying two GMC Sierras wouldn’t even make a big dent. Of course, if they keep spending like that, maybe they won’t be in that house for too long. Who are they even targeting this commercial to? Ugh, ugh, ugh. If you’re wondering, the husband is played by Daniel di Tomasso, and the wife is Morgan Matthews.

Progressive’s Babyman: What Do You Think?

Progressive’s “Babyman” rides in the shopping cart seat, knocks boxes off grocery store shelves, spills candy everywhere, drinks milk straight out of the carton, and is in daycare despite being an adult. A childish adult, but an adult nonetheless. Because Progressive says “Act your own age, get your own insurance.” So is Babyman insulting to the intellectually challenged, insulting to millennials, or not insulting at all? Are people too easily offended? Is it an ad that’s stupid or funny? A lot to consider here from a silly commercial. Also, anyone know who plays Babyman? He looks like he could be John Oliver’s little brother.

John Lewis Takes A Trip With Elton John In Its 2018 Christmas Advert

John Lewis always has one of the holiday season’s most anticipated ads, and now it’s out. This one is considerably different…it starts with Elton John playing the piano. We then see him performing and go back in time to different points in his career. “Your Song” is playing throughout. That’s nice…but where exactly is this going? Well, stick around because the payoff is worth it. It’s a touching tribute to Elton John, who’s in the midst of his farewell tour, aptly titled Farewell Yellow Brick Road. And the hashtag #EltonJohnLewis is a clever one.

Have The Time Of Your Life With KFC’s New Chicken & Waffles

Chicken and waffles…delicious. KFC has finally got on the chicken and waffles train with a new limited-time offering. And to promote it, they’re going a bit retro. The Colonel (played by Craig Fleming) and Mrs. Butterworth reenact the classic Dirty Dancing scene set to “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life.” That iconic dance scene has become advertising gold in the last few years.  In another spot, KFC gives its Chicken & Waffles the Celine Dion treatment. Haha.
