UnitedHealthCare: Chuck Norris Has Still Got It!

Remember Chuck Norris Facts? They became popular starting in the mid-2000s, and quite possibly served as an inspiration for Dos Equis’ The Most Interesting Man in the World campaign. The old men at this diner see Chuck Norris and mention some of the “facts” they’ve heard about him. The one old guy bets the other a buck that Chuck can catch a salt shaker that’s quickly chucked at him. Chuck responds with a quick kick, and the salt shaker ends up smacking the old man chucker right in the face (landing right-side up on the table to boot). He ends up going to the doctor with his busted face, presumably where UnitedHealthcare has him covered. It’s a chuckler.

How is a commercial that has Chuck Norris kicking a salt shaker that flies and hits an old man in the face, busting up his nose in any way entertaining. It is horrible, that is a form of violence. He could have kicked it and had it land on the table only,,,,why did the man have to get hurt, yes, its a medical insurance commercial, but hitting the man in the nose,,,that is cruel……

I LOVE CHUCK NORRIS AND THAT HE STANDS FOR JUSTICE FOR ALL PEOPLE EVEN IF IT IS SCRIPTED, BUT I REMEMBER WHEN HE STOOD UP IN DEFENCE OF THE TABLE MOUNTAIN NATIVE AMERICAN INDIANS OF WHICH I ADMIRED OF HIM FOR.
BUT IN THIS COMMERCIAL HE IS PROTRAYED AS A BIG ‘BULLY’ WHEN HE HITS THE OLD MAN WITH A DIRECT HIT TO THE NOSE WITH THE SALT SHAKER. THAT TO ME IS ELDER ABUSE. WE MISSED THE SMALL WRITING IN. THE PAMPHLET. I WOULD NEVER JOIN UNITED HEALTH CARE.
