Ride hailing apps such as Uber and Lyft have proven to be invaluable over the last few years. Just whip out your phone, and you can get picked up in a matter of minutes. Of course, if you just pulled off a heist at an art museum, ordering a getaway car with an app probably isn’t the best idea. Their drivers make wrong turns too, even if they’ve got a four-star rating, and a trustworthy name like Randy. This is one of the funnier ads from the “It’s Not Surprising” campaign, partly because it seems like something that might actually happen nowadays. Also, here’s an article from today’s Wall Street Journal about people who get into random cars mistakenly thinking it’s their Uber or Lyft.
