Apple: This Teenager Has Questions About Shaving His Burgeoning Mustache

Apple has been really been emphasizing the iPhone’s privacy features in its newest ads. Here, we meet a 15 year old boy with a growing mustache (and a unibrow too). He searches on his iPhone and finds websites that say its normal to start shaving at his age. So he puts down his phone and gets to shaving. The message about privacy is that Safari limits sites from tracking you, because “what you browse should be your business.” That’s cool. The song playing throughout is Bo Diddley’s “I’m A Man.”

Tuesday Throwback: Let’s Remember The Time Michael Jordan Sported A Hitler Mustache In This Hanes Commercial

Michael Jordan is the kind of person who can pretty much do whatever without being seriously questioned, because he’s Michael Jordan. But like, was he not aware that he had a Hitler mustache? That’s hard to believe. This 2010 Hanes ad is also amusing because of the Jeff Foxworthy-looking doofus who has a “bacon neck.” Of course, Charles Barkley had something to say about the whole situation. And here’s a funny video about it.

Westpac Tells A Mustache-Filled Life Story In This Lovely Ad From Australia

I love this ad for Westpac, created by DDB Sydney. We see the life story of a man, starting from a chance meeting with his future wife. He wrangles in a wayward horse right before his wedding, and he’s a rugby superstar (a team player too). He’s a music teacher, he saves a child from a sandstorm, and he’s a doting father and grandfather. Aside from being a great dude, the one constant in this man’s life is his impressive mustache. But like all of us eventually, he dies. We see his funeral…and everyone in attendance is wearing fake mustaches in his honor.  The spot concludes with the message “If you’ve lost a loved one, we’re here to help.” Who’s cutting onions? The song playing throughout is a nice cover of “I’ll Never Find Another You” originally by The Seekers.
