Better Late Than Never: State Farm Shows Sheryl’s She Shed, Which Is On Fire

State Farm’s “She Shed” spot isn’t new…it debuted more than a year ago in March 2018. I’m sure most of you have seen it a million times already. But it was one that I never wrote about on here for some reason, and it’s continued to be aired seemingly as often as when it was new. It’s a memorable one, but also quite annoying. Sheryl’s on the phone with her State Farm agent, Zachary. She says somebody finally burned down her “She Shed” and her husband counters that it was struck by lightning. Sheryl’s She Shed is being on fire is the point though…is it covered? Because it’s a State Farm commercial, of course it’s covered. Looks like Sheryl will be getting another She Shed, much to the annoyance of her husband, Victor. Inquiring minds want to know…was it really lightning, or did Victor actually burn it down? I hope this ad didn’t begin a trend of women starting She Sheds, which I guess is the female equivalent of a man cave. Sheryl is played by Nicole J. Butler, Victor is Reggie Currelley, and Zach Bay is a real-life State Farm agent based in Redding, CA.

State Farm: James Harden Has A Microwave Mishap In Chris Paul’s Kitchen

James Harden decides to heat up some Chinese take-out in the microwave. This is a poor choice, since the metal handle causes the microwave to explode and a kitchen fire ensues. We cut to State Farm “agent” Oscar Nunez commenting to Chris Paul that it was a good thing he kept his fire extinguisher up to date. Turns out that it was Chris Paul’s kitchen. Whoops. James tries to deny that he was the one that caused the fire, but beard evidence suggests otherwise.

State Farm: Aaron Rodgers’ Agent Has Apparently Never Used A Bathroom

There’s been a fire in the bathroom of Aaron Rodgers. Apparently, a candle lit a towel on fire and the towel charred the wall. But don’t look at Aaron’s agent, Gabe. He’s never been in a bathroom…he just meditates and makes it go away. Right. Gabe is played by David Haydn-Jones, and the State Farm agent is real-life agent Patrick Minnis. Also, Gabe, you can’t trade a State Farm agent the Siberian Football League.

GoPro Captures A Fire-Rescued Kitten, But…

It’s a heroic ad for GoPro of the real-life, helmet cam captured rescue of a kitten from a burning Fresno house. But learning that the kitten later died from smoke inhalation is officially the bummer of the day.
