State Farm wants you to know that it does more than home and auto insurance, and that it’s also won awards for life insurance. So to prove that point, its newest ads show us some lesser-known talents of celebrities. Terry Crews is more than a critically acclaimed actor with rhythmic pecs…he’s also a talented flautist. Nice flauting Terry, but let those pecs speak too! And did you know that comedian Ken Jeong used to be a doctor (I actually did know that). So in the words of Biggie, if you don’t know, now you know. Like most of State Farm’s spots, these commercials use real-life agents, Kenya Knight and Tyler McCall, respectively.

Geico: Evil Villains Reveal Their Plans…With PowerPoint?

In Geico’s newest, we see a James Bond-esque character named Mr. Billingsley, who’s being held captive by “Doctor.” The villainous doctor then precedes to reveal his plan for world domination. Only it’s revealed with a lengthy PowerPoint presentation. “Highjacking Earth’s Geothermal Energy Supply” features exciting slides such as “Choosing The Right Drill Bit”, “Permitting & Zoning”, and “The Triangle of Trepidation.” Turns out that long, boring PowerPoint presentations are the true torture. Billy Tilk plays Mr. Billingsley, and Clive Ashborn is the villainous doctor.
