That Axe Ice Chill Ad With The Basketball Player And Cheerleader

This Axe Ice Chill commercial has been out for a few months, but I just saw it for the first time today. That basketball player has some smooth dance moves after swishing a shot, but blowing a kiss at a cheerleader isn’t so smooth. Axe Ice Chill lowers your skin temperature by 11 degrees? Really? I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s skeptical about that. After a judicious spray of the Axe Ice Chill stuff, he fares much better with her while at a diner. Because apparently you’re hotter when you’re chill. Anyone know who plays the cheerleader or the basketball player?

Snickers Helps Out An Indecisive Cheerleader And An Irritable Grandma

This cheerleader is cheering on the Lions. Or Bears. She’s indecisive…maybe a Salty & Sweet Snickers is what she needs. Anyone know who plays the cheerleader? And an irritable grandma (played by Helen Slayton-Hughes) who got her grandson Joey’s letter but is asking what the hell it is might just benefit from an Espresso Snickers. In a longer spot, Snickers offers a tongue-in-cheek apology for calling readers “jerks” in a print ad. Haha. Nice work from BBDO New York.
