Milk-Bone Says Life’s More Fun With A Dog…Especially At A Wedding

If you’re a cat lover like me, you might object to the “dogs are better than cats” message of this Milk-Bone ad. But if you’re going to use a furry friend as the ring bearer at your wedding, it’s likely that an obedient dog is a better choice than an independent-minded, tree-climbing cat. They’re both very cute though. Anyone know who play the bride and groom in this one?

Allstate’s Mayhem Is A Cat

Allstate’s Mayhem (Dean Winters) takes a new form in this spot…he’s a playful, but scheming and destructive cat. See, he’s been plotting to destroy you ever since you took him home. He’ll drink from the sink and cause your bathroom to flood (which will also collapse the ceiling), he’ll eat your bird, and he’ll randomly knock stuff off tables. It’s a billion years of tiger DNA just getting ready to pounce. Of course, he’ll also be real cute when doing all of this. Allstate makes a funny commercial here, and I’m pretty surprised that it took so long for Mayhem to be a cat. Meow!

Chase: Jason Wu Has A Cute, Fat Cat

Designer Jason Wu is a natural while putting on a runway show for New York Fashion Week. And he also sets up recurring payments for cat sitting to his neighbor Emma with the Chase mobile app. $100 for cat sitting? Sounds good! That is one cute kitty (adorably named Peaches), who’s “now ready for the catwalk.” The cat looks like she’s smiling at the end…is that real or simulated? Meow! Emma is quite cute too. Anyone know who plays her?

New York Lottery Shows An Adorable And Determined Bodega Cat

One of the best parts about life in NYC are the bodegas, which are often home to cats, employed partly for their friendliness and partly for their vermin killing. In this charming spot from the New York Lottery, we see a bodega cat, Cyrus, who tracks down his store’s owner at home after closing and gives him an unexpected Christmas present while he sleeps. Cyrus even takes the bus and climbs down the chimney like Santa Claus…adorable. The song is a cover of “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)”, performed by Julia Stone.

Wells Fargo: This Cat’s Owner Definitely Did Not Spend $107 At Doggy Lover’s Warehouse

After this woman gets a suspicious activity alert about a $107 charge at Doggy Lover’s Warehouse, her cat looks pissed. Turns out it was fraudulent, and Wells Fargo removes the charge. Her feline friend, however, is still pissed and walks away. At least Wells Fargo didn’t open up a phony account in her name. That we know of, at least. The woman is played by Stacey Farber. I’m a fan of this one.

Dreamies Deli-Catz: This Ad With A Cat And A Chick Is Adorable, But Then…

I’m a big fan of watching cute animal videos, especially ones that are of different species being friends. But have you ever wondered what happens when the cameras are off? Is it possible that one could hurt, or even kill/eat the other? Of course it’s possible, but that’s just something most of us don’t really like to think about. Mars owned cat snack Dreamies Deli-Catz has a new spot from the UK, created by adam&eveDDB. It shows a friendly feline and his chick buddy going on endearing adventures. They frolic outside, drink from the same water bowl, chase butterflies, and watch beautiful sunsets. But when they come home, kitty is hungry, and nobody is answering the door. When the door is finally opened, the feathers tell the story. Oof. “Treat your cat before it treats itself” is a fantastic tagline.

These Subaru Ads Star A Driving Dog Family

The Barkleys were first featured in Subaru commercials two years ago (how did I miss these?). Now they’re back in more adorable ads created by Carmichael Lynch. In the longest one, Papa Barkley drives around at night with his sleepy puppy child. We also follow them in adventures around town. They have trouble communicating with the voice-activated phone navigation. In another, Mr. and Mrs. Barkley go out for a nice dinner, and have their car parked by a cat valet, who looks like he had a good time with their car. So cute.

The E*Trade Baby Quits In This Commercial With A Cat

After 6 years, the E*Trade baby is finally calling it quits. I say it’s about damn time. Talking babies creep me out. It might have been a little funny at first, but it wore so thin. Glad to see this campaign be over.
