Lacoste Travels Through Time On A Train

I like wearing polos. Lacoste, founded by French tennis player Rene Lacoste in 1933, was the creator of polo shirts. They’re beautiful pieces of clothing, but I don’t own any because they’re a bit out of my price range. Maybe I should go for one that’s second-hand. Anyway, you know a fashion commercial is special if I’m writing about it on here, since I typically shy away from fashion advertising. Lacoste’s new commercial, “Timeless”, is a 90-second epic, created by BETC Paris. A man is chasing after a woman on a train, and as they travel through the cars, time also travels. The styles are evolving through the decades, but the guy’s Lacoste polo stays a timeless constant. Finally, after a fantastic chase, they meet and kiss in the end. It’s a wonderfully shot spot, and the music of Max Richter’s “November” only adds to the urgent mood. Here’s more from Adweek.
