Priceline: Learn Your Life Lessons From David Robinson, Not Latrell Sprewell

This Priceline commercial has been out for 3 months now, and it’s from the same campaign as the one with the scammed grandma. If you use Priceline to book a basketball-centered trip to San Antonio, you might just get inspiring life advice from Hall of Famer and all-around great guy David Robinson. If you don’t, you might end up getting terrible life advice at a bar from Latrell Sprewell. “Spree”, of course, was a good player whose success was overshadowed by an infamous incident where he choked his coach in practice. He also retired after turning down a 3 year/$21 million contract saying “I have a family to feed.” And “success is just failure that hasn’t happened yet” is a pretty bad lesson to teach a young child. At least Latrell can make fun of himself.
