This Bell’s Whisky Commercial From South Africa Is Fantastic

The story of an elderly man learning how to read seems like an odd one for a whisky ad. But this South African Bell’s Whisky spot created by ad agency King James and directed by Greg Gray makes it work beautifully. We see the man slowly learning to read…he makes some mistakes along the way, but sticks with it. The payoff is absolutely triumphant and heartwarming.
