Snoop Dogg’s Pocket Like It’s Hot: How Did This Take 8 Years?

Freshman year of college. 2004. A different time and place. Two prevalent aspects of that period were Hot Pockets and Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot.” Which when combined could lead to the awkward combination of diarrhea and dancing. Anyway, I am absolutely stunned that it took 8 years for “Pocket Like It’s Hot” to come out. Seriously. How did anyone not think of this before?

DirecTV Sez: Don’t Drive Into A Pizzeria That Makes Great Baked Ziti

A continuation of the year’s best commercial campaign from Grey New York. I’m fairly certain this one was shown sparingly during the early summer, but it’s just been on YouTube for the last week or so. Anyway, seeing my parents in that freaky situation would be very traumatizing. And now I’m also in the mood for some baked ziti.

MLB’s Postseason Cincinnati Reds Commercial

Go Reds!

Hyundai: Don’t Tell Mom/Dad

I really like this Hyundai Santa Fe commercial. It has a father spending time with his kids, doing fun but somewhat risky and/or morally questionable activities. Thus, the “don’t tell mom” line. But then, the tables are turned. Mom can have some fun too…skydiving with her son. Thus, “don’t tell dad.” It’s cute and tells an interesting story with a fresh perspective.

The Wendy’s Redhead Cutie Enjoys The Bacon Portabella Melt

Everyone’s favorite fast food slinging spokeswoman, Morgan Smith Goodwin, is back in yet another Wendy’s commercial. I’m a fan of Wendy’s, but definitely not of mushrooms, so I think I’ll skip the Bacon Portabella Melt. Here’s a review from GrubGrade.

Buffalo Wild Wings: Protect The Football!

Funny football commercials from Buffalo Wild Wings. It’s got a similar setup to their “More March” campaign. So remember that watching the game at Buffalo Wild Wings beats watching it with some wheatgrass whackos, your questionable home brewer friend, or a baby-toting couple. Protect the football!
