Do Well At "Pizza Hero" And Domino's Might Just Hire You As A Pizza Chef

In the continuing not great economic climate, a job is a job is a job. Any job is better than nothing. But still, this Domino’s commercial strikes me as…odd. If you do well at the “Pizza Hero” iPad game, Domino’s might just hire you as a real Pizza Chef. Yay? Though it’s noted in the fine print that “playing or doing well on the Pizza Hero game does not guarantee employment at a Domino’s store.” I suspect there’s something more to this promotion, and people that get hired as a result will appear in a future commercial. Domino’s is known for using real employees in their spots. I think it’s about time for Domino’s to try a new advertising angle. Yes, I get it: they used to really suck, but they now apparently suck less. Though I haven’t tried the new Domino’s, since they don’t deliver to my house despite being closer than a few places that DO deliver.
